Sometimes the product requires temporary buffering. Particularly at packaging locations where temporary buffering with minimal drive force is required, Marvu turntables are an excellent option. Marvu constructs the turntables with either a chain drive or direct shaft drive (maintenance free). Like other Marvu transport systems, these meet HACCP standards, provide ease of use, are hygienic and require a minimum of maintenance.

Standard features of these turntables include:

• Constructed entirely of stainless steel / plastic (finish: glass-bead blasted)
• Slip-on gear motor (fitted with stainless steel shield for hose-down applications)
• Stainless steel or plastic table surface
• Table surface diameters of 1200mm and 1500mm
• Isolating switch
• Stationary undercarriage on stainless steel feet

• Mobile undercarriage
• Edge guides (on the table or mounted to the frame)
• Guide arm to distribute products across the table surface
• Integration of turntable in frame of infeed conveyor or connected to metal detector
