Passageway for containers in the curve belt frame

Lantmännen Unibake is a large industrial manufacturer operating in the bread and bakery industry. They manufacture a variety of croissants and other pastry products at one of their manufacturing sites in Belgium. The aim of this project was to reduce maintenance requirements and to minimise downtime by installing two fabric curve belts.

“We chose Marvu’s curve belts because of their reliable circumferential drive mechanism. The cams are positioned on the outside of the chain, relieving the tension on the chain. In addition, Marvu decided to use elastic connectors rather than springs, and this offers us a significant improvement. This investment has reduced the frequency of line stoppages leading to lower maintenance requirements and less downtime.

Marvu is a new supplier for us and we are happy with the partnership. Marvu offers a flexible and quick service; we experienced this when they adjusted the conveyor belt frame so that our containers could pass under the curve.”
